Notice and takedown procedures under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), which can be accessed on the US Copyright Office’s website, we will respond swiftly to reports of alleged copyright infringement that are in accordance with the DMCA.
All users of techarcanum.com are expected to abide by all applicable copyright laws. The removal or disablement of material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and/or the termination of contributors are options we reserve if we receive proper notification of claimed copyright infringement. This is true regardless of whether we are liable for the alleged infringement under US law or the laws of another jurisdiction.
The creator of the content affected by such a notice will be given the opportunity to file a counter notification under Sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA if we remove or disable access to the content. If we take action on a claim of infringement, we may document it.

As a countermeasure
Sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act allow the alleged infringer to file a counter notice.
We require a written correspondence (by ordinary mail) containing the information listed below in order to submit a counter notification. You are not allowed to send any of the following information through email unless you have received previous written permission. Please be aware that if you materially misrepresent that a product or activity does not infringe on the copyrights of others, you may be held accountable for damages (including expenses and attorneys’ fees). When in doubt about whether something infringes on someone else’s copyright, we recommend consulting an attorney first.

If techarcanum.com receives a counter notification, it will promptly send a copy of the counter notification to the person who originally reported the infringement and advise that person that techarcanum.com will replace the removed material or stop blocking access to it in 10 business days. Unless our Designated Agent first receives notice from the person who submitted an infringement notification that such person has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the subscriber from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on our system or network, techarcanum.com will replace the removed material and cease disabling access to it not less than ten, nor more than fourteen, business days following receipt of the counter notice.
Repeat offenders
Techarcanum.com will disable and/or delete the accounts of contributors who are repeat infringers in accordance with Section 512(i)(1)(A) of the DMCA.
